Management System of the OKB Zenith CJSC. Analysis, Paths of Development for the Company

The goal that was initially put forth in front of our company was the reengineering of business-processes with the goal of raising their effectiveness and overall reducing the expenses of OKB Zenith.
According to technical specifications, the following works were completed:
- Informational flows were analyzed.
- “As is” business processes were analyzed:
- Ordering;
- Estimate request;
- Production order;
- Production order from external counterparties;
- Planning;
- Material – technical support.
- Problems were found in all of the productivity aspects that were analyzed;
- The analysis of production funds was conducted from the point of view on the potential of raising their load and the current nomenclature of their goods.
Due to the systemic nature of the problems within the enterprise, it was decided to conduct a set of additional jobs to eradicate them:
- Systematization of the unwanted phenomena found within the analysis, a distinction of key problems.
- An analysis of the global experience in the framework of managing production and the evaluation of the possibility of applying this experience to the Client.
- An uncovering of the key conflict and a creation of methods to eliminate it.
- A creation of improvement concepts and the appropriate sequencing of recommended measures.
Based on the results of the first stage, the owners of the Client decided to pursue the second stage that was dedicated to implementing the recommended measures and improving the planning system.
The result of the second stage of work was the successful implementation of the new planning paradigm that allowed for a significant increase in the quality of planning and the effectiveness of the company’s business.
Within the framework of the job, organizational changes were implemented, regulations, provisions and work instructions developed, and changes in the business processes were described.
