Industrial Consumption of Silver

The goal of the study was the analysis, systematization and forecasts of the silver consumption market.

Within the framework of the completed job:

1. The global silver market was analyzed. The consumption and production of silver were structured and the price analysis was conducted. The evaluation of volumes of all aspects of silver consumption was made and forecasting was done for each of these directions.
2. The Russian silver market was analyzed in regards to its reserves, production and refining, as well as industrial and investment consumption and export.
3. Industrial consumption (use) of silver in the world and the Russian Federation were meticulously analyzed:
   
   1. The traditional directions of silver consumption – photography, electronics and electrical appliances, photovoltaic applications, solders, silver catalysts, nanosilver and silver in medicine. The volumes of consumption, the short-term and long-term tendencies were all determined.
   1. Innovational technologies of silver consumption were selected and analyzed (annual growth in consumption of more than 50%). The volume of consumption, the short-term and long-term tendencies were all determined.
4. A plan of events to grow the production of goods out of silver was developed.
