Aluminum Valley

The ARCO Company entered the Association “Union of Manufacturers, Suppliers and Consumers of Aluminum”.

A number of meetings were held with the representatives of the RUSAL Company and the Aluminum Association, which were dedicated to the development of the Aluminum Valley project in the Krasnoyarsk Region.

“Aluminum Valley” is a project of the new special economic zone (SEZ) in the Krasnoyarsk Region, which was suggested by the largest Russian manufacturer of aluminum – RUSAL Company. The new territory with the high tech processing industry must improve the investment climate of the region, to raise the competitive ability of Russian manufacturing, as well as strengthen the position of the Russian aluminum production within the country and internationally.

The special economic zone offers localization for international and national residents that consume aluminum and produce high-end finished goods out of aluminum and alloys on the industrial sites of the Krasnoyarsk Aluminum and Metallurgical Plants, as well as on the territory of the Divnogorsk town.

ARCO had signed an agreement with the Aluminum Association, aimed at joint efforts for the development of the project.
