On-site seminar-meeting in Smolensk

On 25–26 May in Smolensk ARCO took part in meeting, organized by the Association of Industrial Parks and the Government of the Smolensk region.

During the 2-day trip, members of the Association from the Moscow, Belgorod, Oryol, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod regions and the Krasnoyarsk Territory visited the sites of the industrial parks in the Smolensk region, took part in a seminar-meeting on topical issues of the development of industrial parks, and visited industrial enterprises.

During the seminar-meeting, which was held with the participation of Deputy Governor of the Smolensk region Rostislav Rovbel and Deputy Director of the Department for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Competition of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Olesya Teterina, representatives of industrial parks discussed the acute problems of creating and developing industrial parks in Russia, measures of state support and exchanged experiences in implementation of projects.
During the meeting, the members of the Industrial Construction Committee of the AIP presented their own experience and proposals for improving the efficiency of investment projects implemented by resident companies in industrial parks. Alexander Komarov («ARKO» Ltd.) made a presentation «Actual tools for improving the efficiency of investment projects. Own experience». The presentation was devoted to services that are in demand from Investors in the implementation of their investment projects, and services that are decisive when making an investor’s decision to localize production.
